Times are tough, and pharmacists are on the front line… have you reached out for mental health support?

The COVID-19 crisis continues around Australia, with the ACT entering its first lockdown since early 2020, and NSW adding more Local Government Areas to its list of locked down zones and recording its highest number of infections to date on Friday.

Meanwhile Victoria recorded another 15 cases and is planning a vaccination blitz, with a target of a million jabs in the state-run facilities in the next five weeks.

While the pandemic is weighing on everybody’s mind, pharmacists are unique in that they are on the frontline as health professionals, and also as essential retailers who have had to cope with a significant amount of abuse from patients whose own nerves are frayed.

The AJP would like to know how you’re travelling during these difficult times. Is COVID-19 harming your mental health… and have you been able to reach out and find help? Tell us in our two polls below.

How has COVID affected you?
