Forum: Don’t just hand out the pills!


“I have for many years as a humble pharmacist believed that issuing pharmacological options to patients often gave them carte blanche to continue with poor lifestyle choices.

The paper below published in the British Journal of General Practice appears to support my view point.

Perhaps if instead of just handing out the pills we were able to spend more time supporting our patient’s lifestyle choices, the reliance on medication and long term outcomes might improve?”
