Forum: Show us ya scripts on file

“I am interested in how different pharmacies manage their scripts on file. The main pharmacy I work at has a few draws in the dispensary counter that they are stored in. Each patient or family is grouped together with a script backing with the patient name and address folded over them and held with a rubber band. Overall the system works fairly well unless someone uses a paper clip instead of the rubber band as one file can easily absorb another with the bottom of the bundle not held closed.”

We do something similar but put each patient into their own plastic zip-lock bag. A patient address label is stuck on the outside of each zip-lock bag. Webster patients are colour coded and kept in a separate file.
