Minfos is ready to support TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacies with their eScripts*

TerryWhite Chemmart Armidale in regional New South Wales has this week become one of the first pharmacies in Australia – and the first TerryWhite Chemmart – to begin dispensing electronic prescriptions, thanks to a partnership with leading pharmacy technology company Minfos.

The Armidale TerryWhite Chemmart is a pilot pharmacy for the new Minfos ePrescription dispense workflow, which will become available to all Minfos pharmacies FREE of charge as part of their subscription in June 2020.

Pharmacist Manager Daniel Flavel of TerryWhite Chemmart Armidale said that dispensing their first ePrescription represented a milestone in the developing digital age of pharmacy.

“We are proud to be the first TerryWhite Chemmart in Australia to have dispensed an ePrescription. This is a significant milestone not only for our store and our brand, but for pharmacy in Australia,” he said.

“Using Minfos made this process simple and it integrates well with our current processes. We are thrilled to be part of this innovation. It has been a pleasure to work with Minfos and be involved in this landmark event for Australian Healthcare.” Mr Flavel also said.

“I have been impressed with the capacity and integration with our current workflow and this innovation will help pharmacists to provide holistic care and assist in medication management, bringing benefits to patients, prescribers, pharmacists and the wider community. I look forward to seeing what future innovations and additional capabilities this will unlock.”

EBOS General Manager – Pharmacy Technology, Andrew Hall said “the rollout of ePrescriptions in partnership with TerryWhite Chemmart demonstrated the commitment of the two companies to being at the forefront of innovation in Australian pharmacy.”

“We worked closely with the GP clinic Rusden St Medical and TerryWhite Chemmart Armidale to bring eScripts to life and are pleased to see the first prescription dispensed this week,” he said.

“Minfos is proud to deliver an innovative ePrescription dispense workflow that is simple and easy for pharmacies to adopt. All Minfos customers need to do is update their software in June.”
