Poll: What do you think of the Budget?

The pharmacy sector has mostly responded favourably to the 2017 Budget… but what do you think?

The Pharmacy Guild said it welcomes the recognition of community pharmacy central to several measures, such as modernising pharmacy programs and directing the Contingency Reserve funds to new and expanded services; and a focus on pharmacy in PHNs and Home Health Care Trials.

Of course, a lot of the measure affecting pharmacy were already in train or the subject of serious discussion when the Budget was handed down, and thus aren’t exactly new.

But the PSA says there are missed opportunities, and while they’re pleased at some measures to assist small business, business groups also say more could have been done to help the sector.

What do you think—how do you rate the 2017 Budget? And tell us what you and don’t like in comments below.
