Budget outlines 8CPA with $480m for cheaper medicines


PBS co-payment freeze, $1 discount to be phased out, and cap on dose administration aids increased as part of tonight’s federal Budget  Treasurer, Jim Chalmers, has unveiled a $480.2 million package to reduce patient costs and improve access to medicines that will form part of the Eighth Community Pharmacy Agreement (8CPA) in tonight’s Budget.
