Forum: MedsASSIST – more harm than good?

If you haven’t yet had a look at the AJP Discussion Forum thread on MedsASSIST there are now more than 50 posts from over 20 contributors, including this recent post from Francip Ip:

“Even if you can pick them, pharmacists do not have the ability to initiate pharmacological treatment for opiate addiction, and are not trained to provide psychological treatment for addiction to help the patient. Until you can seamlessly move the patient directly from detection to even consideration of initiating treatment, it is going to do MORE HARM THAN GOOD.”
