“I was recently locuming at a pharmacy where vaccinations are done; more than one pharmacist is accredited to vaccinate. I was surprised to learn that a second pharmacist is not necessarily rostered on when one of the two vaccinating pharmacists is doing vaccinations. I was told that they just squeeze them (vaccinations) in.
At another pharmacy, I am specifically employed so that the vaccinating pharmacist can give their full attention to their patients.
Since I have not done the course, I am wondering which practice is preferred?”
