Age-related immaturity could often be diagnosed as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, WA researchers say The youngest children in Western Australian classrooms are more likely than their older classmates to receive medication for ADHD, the Curtin University researchers have found. The researchers say this raises concerns that age-related immaturity is being misdiagnosed as a psychiatric disorder.
