AJP host Miranda is joined by Toni Riley, program manager of the RUM project, and two of the winning pharmacies in this year’s RUM competition:
Paul Nathan and Christian Rossi from Maddington Village Pharmacy, WA, were handed three bottles of Clements Nerve & Brain Tonic that claimed to treat premature decay, loss of nerve power and poorness of blood. An advertisement for the tonic was found in a newspaper from 1938.
Roy Packer from Superpharmacy Plus in Stafford, QLD, was handed a medical field kit from World War 1, containing morphine, atropine and codeine in vial forms.
The winners received free passes for APP2018.
