Chemmart has launched a new Walk and Win marketing campaign encouraging Australians to embrace healthier habits.
For every day that Chemmart Rewards members walk 10,000 steps from October 13 to November 30, they will receive an entry into the draw to win a trip valued at $7,500.
Chemmart Executive Director Duncan Phillips says the Walk and Win campaign is the first of its kind for the Australian pharmacy industry.
“We’re constantly focused on helping our customers look after their health better, and we know they’re very connected, so we’re excited to have a new means to engage with them and reward them for living healthier lives,” Phillips says.
“It’s another way we’re solidifying our brand as a health and wellbeing destination and an innovator in the marketing space.”
Chemmart has partnered with Ziva to run the campaign, with Ziva’s back-end technology enabling participants to quickly and easily connect their fitness devices to the competition.
Ziva is able to connect with more than 200 fitness devices – both wearable and apps – making the Walk and Win campaign more accessible for consumers.
Ziva Co-Founder Issac Elnekave says the campaign would simultaneously grow Chemmart’s loyalty program and help spread the brand’s health and wellbeing proposition.
“It’s great to see Chemmart – a brand that has such an influence on health – embracing this new platform,” he says.
Phillips says he hopes the Walk and Win campaign will give Australians the extra boost of motivation they might need to stay active.
“It’s widely recommended people take 10,000 steps a day to improve their health and reduce their risk of disease,” he says.
