Vaccinations and technology in community pharmacy

Paul Naismith and Trent Twomey are part of a stellar lineup of speakers in an upcoming webinar looking at technology and vaccinations in pharmacy   

Since the beginning of the Global Pandemic Australia’s Health sector has experienced significant change.

Tasked with leading the front-line response to the surge in COVID-19 related issues, the sector has responded to lead the nation’s recovery efforts.

In particular, community pharmacy has witnessed the emergence of new and increased technology within the almost 24 months since the pandemic began. The emergence of e-prescriptions, Telehealth and increased appetite for online sales platforms/home delivery brings forward the need to increase investment in technology.

CommBank are presenting and hosting a webinar this month that features a panel of experts who will be discussing the ongoing developments around these topics in community pharmacy.    

This session will be a facilitated panel discussion featuring:

2) Professor Trent Twomey –  National President of The Pharmacy Guild a  of Australia
3) Fergus Brooks – CBA  Executive Manager Cyber Recovery Planning

Panellists will be diving deeper into these key themes emerging within the Community Pharmacy sector since the COVID-19 Pandemic began, as well as discussing the role of Community Pharmacy in the vaccination roll-out and how technology can assist with this.
