ACCC announces Chemist Warehouse/Sigma merger decision

After an eight-month inquiry, the chief competition regulator has had its final say on whether the merger would “substantially lessen competition” in the retail pharmacy market  The competition watchdog has cleared the path the $8.8bn Chemist Warehouse (CWH) and Sigma Healthcare merger, following the wholesaler’s recent concessions.      The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) said
