Administrator appointed

A leading pharmacy automation distributor has recently filed for insolvency

An administrator was appointed for Dose Innovation on 17 January, according to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission website.

On its own website, the Brisbane-based Dose Innovation says it has provided ”specialist software, technology and machinery for the pharmaceutical market for 15 years…”

It has installed, commissioned and supported ROWA dispensary systems in more than 100 pharmacies across Australia, with the latest having signed up in the last few days, according to the Dose Facebook page.  

The administrator, Cor Cordis Chartered Accountants, has advised that a creditors’ meeting on 30 January will consider:

  • whether to appoint a committee of inspection; and
  • if so, who are to be the committee ‘ s members.

At the meeting, creditors may also, by resolution:

  • remove the administrator(s) from office; and
  • appoint someone else as administrator(s) of the Company.

The date for proxy forms is 4:00 PM, 29/1/2018.
