ASMI submits codeine package to Government

ASMI has made a submission to the Goverment outlining a package of measures to combat codeine misuse. The organisation says proposed changes to the scheduling of OTC codeine-containing medicines will not adequately address issues of misuse and addiction. But the package, which includes a mandatory real time monitoring system, could potentially find the correct balance
