Asthma deaths rise in under 35s


New approach needed to improve diagnosis and treatment of asthma, NAC director says  Data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) shows there was a 33.333% increase in the number of asthma-related in people under 35 years of age in 2024.  A total of 478 Australians died last year due to asthma, two fewer than in 2023.   National Asthma Council Australia (NAC)
