Chemist Warehouse has extended its partnership of the National Basketball League until 2018.

Chemist Warehouse is the Official Health and Beauty Retailer of the NBL and will be the naming rights partner of the League’s new Wellness Round to be held during Round 1 in the upcoming 2016/17 season.

NBL Executive Director Larry Kestelman says the League is delighted to continue the strong relationship.

“Chemist Warehouse has been an integral partner of the League during a period of massive strategic growth and expansion,” he says.

“They have supported our endeavours on and off the court and we look forward to working with them as both organisations continue to go from strength to strength.”

Chemist Warehouse COO Mario Tascone says, “Chemist Warehouse is thrilled to once again support the NBL.

“Basketball represents one of the highest participation sports in this country and Chemist Warehouse wants to be a part of a sport and league that promotes living well, staying well and getting active.

“Together with the NBL, Chemist Warehouse plans to engage with fans on ‘game days’ and aims to promote wellness throughout the 2016/2017 season.”

Chemist warehouse and the my chemist group can afford to spend millions on advertising and partnerships but seemingly can’t afford to pay their overworked staff pharmacists and pharmacy assistants above the award… disgraceful.
