At the Australian Pharmacy Professional conference on the Gold Coast, Guild National President George Tambassis and Amneal Pharmaceuticals Managing Director Gavin Upiter presented cheques of $10,000 each to Jhaike Braham of the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.
This is the $10,000 Amneal offered to donate to the charity of George’s choice if he skydived out of a plane – which he did in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago.
The Guild is partnering with the CBCF through George’s friendship with Dr Charlie Teo – the founder of the Foundation, who thanks to video, appears to be watching over the presentation.
The Guild matched Amneal’s $10,000.
