NSW extends SafeScript

All prescribers and pharmacists in clinical practice in NSW are now able to access the state’s real time prescription monitoring system, SafeScript NSW NSW Health noted in a statement that the system provides prescribers and pharmacists with real-time information about a patient’s prescribing and dispensing history for certain high-risk medicines such as opioids and benzodiazepines.
