The Queensland Guild is supporting its members to access funding set aside in the Budget for pharmacy programs
The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Queensland Branch has implemented a dedicated Pharmacy Business Support team, to assist members in transforming their pharmacies.
Branch President Tim Logan says that the team has over 80 years combined pharmacy experience, and assists members to remain viable in a changing landscape.
“We understand that the pharmacy industry can be a challenging place – business support can often be hard to find and comes at a price,” Mr Logan says.
The team works one-on-one with members to understand their business issues, and helps them access resources to improve their business offering.
One such resource that the Pharmacy Business Support Team assists with, is the Opportunity Analysis tool.
“The federal budget has brought certainty to 6CP funded programs,” Mr Logan says. “Now is the time for pharmacies to act and ensure they are ready to implement and access these additional income streams.
“The Opportunity Analysis tool highlights how businesses can access additional income from 6CPA funded programs, prescription and medication programs and more.
“Plus, an expert coach will discuss and analyse the results, providing strategic advice for developing a professional services offer that generates additional income.”
The Queensland Pharmacy Business Support is included as part of Guild membership.
The Opportunity Analysis tool can be accessed through Health Advice Plus.
