Undeclared sildenafil

stop sign

The TGA has warned consumers not to take a product called Gold Max Pink capsules, as they contain the undeclared S4 substance sildenafil

“The supply of Gold Max Pink capsules containing undisclosed sildenafil is illegal,” said the TGA, after testing the product and finding the ingredient.

“Gold Max Pink capsules have not been assessed by the TGA for quality, safety or efficacy as required under Australian legislation, and the place of manufacture is not approved by the TGA.”

People in possession of the capsules have been told to stop taking them and to bring any remaining product to their pharmacy for safe disposal, as well as to ask a health professional if they have any concerns.
