Poll: How are you handling the newly listed Hep C drugs?

When the Turnbull Government decided late last year to PBS list a range of breakthrough Hepatitis C cures, Health Minister Sussan Ley described it as a “watershed moment”.

Minister Ley said the Government hoped the decision would help all but eradicate the deadly liver disease within a generation.

The Government invested more than $1 billion in subsidising the medicines; but in the short term, financial effects are also being felt by pharmacies, as stocking the products has cash flow, GST and insurance implications for pharmacists.
