Which Grattan Institute recommendations do you agree with?*
- End Community Pharmacy Agreements
- Include pharmacists and patients in the agreements, and base them on public evidence
- Expand and speed up price disclosure price cuts
- Pay pharmacies sooner for very high-cost medicines
- Automate the Safety Net recording process
- Remove the Safety Net recording fee, discretionary patient charges, and fees for 60-day dispensing
- Make IHACPA responsible for determining pharmacy remuneration
- Replace payment adjustment and the regional allowance with monitoring of pharmacy viability, targeted support, and reverse auctions in areas without a pharmacy
- Remove restrictions on where new pharmacies can be established, including allowing pharmacies in supermarkets
- Remove restrictions on who can own pharmacies and how many they can own
- Allow pharmacies to discount all medicines
- Direct the ACCC to do a market study of the community pharmacy sector and design safeguards to protect competition

- Reset pricing for DAAs to reflect increasing automation, and then remove caps
- Fund pharmacist prescribing for UTIs and rigorous trials for minor ailments
- Invest $80 million in pharmacists in general practice and ACCHOs
- I disagree with all recommendations
