Government-led promotion needed to boost 60-day uptake: study


Slower than forecast adoption of 60-day dispensing is being attributed to low uptake by GPs and resistance from pharmacists  Changes to GP prescribing software, combined with clearer communication to patients about the financial benefits of increased maximum dispensing quantities, are needed to boost uptake of the policy, researchers say.  A study published in the Medical Journal
