Pharmacy Connect

Due to the on-going COVID-19 outbreak and extended lockdown in New South Wales, Pharmacy Connect 2021 was postponed until 1-3 September 2022. However, because of the COVID 100% refund guarantee in place, registrations can be transferred to the 2022 conference or refunded in full.

Mr. David Heffernan, New South Wales Guild Branch President, said that while challenging, the decision was the correct one to protect everyone’s health and safety.

“New South Wales community pharmacies are currently fighting hard on the frontline of a COVID-19 outbreak that is unfortunately very close to home. They are focusing on what matters most – the health and safety of their patients.”

PSA Onshore Refresher

The organising committee of the annual PSA Refresher made the following announcement: “The ongoing lockdown situations in NSW and Queensland has made proceeding with the planned program for the 2021 Onshore Refresher Conference in Darwin now impossible with only 4 weeks to go.

Given all of the work in preparing the program and the obvious popularity of the chosen venue, PSA has decided to reschedule the full Darwin program to the first available dates following the forthcoming wet season”.

The new dates that have been secured are:

27th April – 4th May Pre Red Centre tour
4th – 10th of May 2022 Main Conference Darwin
10th – 13th May Post Kakadu tour

All elements of the current advertised program and travel schedule are expected to be retained.
