September 1995: a new pharmacy organisation has just been launched, an inquiry into the pharmaceutical industry is ongoing, and employed pharmacists are looking for more work A "long-awaited" industry initiative aimed at improving pharmacy professionalism had finally got the green light in September 1995 with the establishment of the Australian Association of Consultant Pharmacy (AACP).
