Alliance Pharmacy has launched a new outlet aimed specifically at the Chinese e-shopper sector
The new pharmacy is a dedicated retail space for international business, due to the continued growth of China’s e-commerce shoppers.
These shoppers are increasingly looking to purchase Australian and New Zealand made healthcare, cosmetics and infant care products such as baby formula, skin care and vitamins.
The pharmacy outlet is planned to leverage Pharmacy Alliance’s supplier relationships to offer ranges from popular healthcare brands such as Blackmore’s, Oli6 Goat’s Milk Formula, Nestle Nutritional Formula, Bio Island Kids Vitamins and Natio Skincare.
The outlet was designed for the convenience of bulk purchasing and offers international delivery on site.
A key objective of the outlet is to showcase new and emerging Australian made brands and give shoppers a location to engage and buy local Australian products.
“Alliance Pharmacy and AHPC are proud to introduce this type of retail initiative to service the export market more efficiently and effectively,” said Simon Reynolds, Managing Director.
“We see this as an opportunity to bring trusted Australian brands to the international market.”
Beginning in 2002, Pharmacy Alliance, now a 600+ independent national pharmacy group, is focused on finding innovative solutions in community pharmacy.
The Alliance Pharmacy Export Outlet will give international shoppers a centralised distribution hub for bulk purchase exports and is located in Granville.
The new outlet is only the latest in Pharmacy Alliance’s bid to work with the daigou market: in June, for example, it launched the “Slingshot” project.
This saw Australian Products Only sections introduced across the Pharmacy Alliance network.
