Jane McKellar joins TWG Board

Terry White Group has announced the appointment of Jane McKellar to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

McKellar has more than 30 years’ international experience in senior management roles in retail, digital, marketing and merchandising, including more than 15 years’ experience as a company director on various Boards in Australia and the US.

TWG chairman Terry White says the Board will benefit enormously from McKellar’s expertise and insights.

“Jane is a very successful and highly experienced executive and director with a track record of supporting retailers through periods of change and harnessing digital and customer-focused strategies to drive growth,” White says.

“Recent regulatory changes in our industry make it critical for pharmacies to have diversified income – and a strong front of shop retail revenue stream – to balance decreases to dispensing payments.

“We’ve undergone a significant investment over the last four years to strengthen the retail capability, systems and platforms of the network, which is driving the strong sales growth in our pharmacies.

“Jane’s keen understanding of retail and consumer business and deep international digital, brand, marketing and governance experience will be invaluable to supporting the Terry White Group in its next growth phase.”

McKellar has held senior roles in Unilever, Microsoft and Ninemsn and was previously managing director – Australia of Elizabeth Arden and Global CEO of cosmetics manufacturer Stila Corporation.

She is currently a director of the ASX-listed McPhersons Limited and Helloworld Limited. Her previous directorships include Pacific Bioscience (Clarisonic).
