GuildLink boss to step down after 12 years in the role

The CEO of GuildLink, the Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s software subsidiary, is stepping down more than a decade in the role.

Ross Gallagher, has been CEO of GuildLink, a wholly-owned Guild subsidiary, for about 12 years.

In announcing Mr Gallagher’s resignation to Guild members, Guild national president George Tambassis said he had “been a crucial part of many of the major changes that have been put in place over that period for the benefit of our community pharmacy members and the sector more broadly.

“Under his management, GuildCare has become the preeminent services platform for community pharmacy”.

Earlier this year the board level governance of GuildLink was brought under the umbrella of the broader Guild Group, Mr Tambassis said.

“Ross has made the decision that this is the right time for him to embark on his next career challenge. Ross Gallagher has been a respected and committed member of the Guild family, and he will be missed.

“On behalf of the Guild, I extend my best wishes to Ross and to his family for a bright and prosperous future”.
