TerryWhite Chemmart CEO to step down

TerryWhite Chemmart (TWC) has announced that its CEO Duncan Phillips will depart the company in October this year.

Mr Phillips, who is originally from the UK, has lived in Australia for the last 12 years and intends to return to the UK with his wife and young family.

He has been with TWC for six years, including the last two years as Chief Executive Officer. He also previously served as Chief Operating Officer.

TWC said it will manage the leadership change with two new internal senior appointments.

Nick Munroe has been appointed to the role of Executive General Manager, while Ben Elder has been promoted to the role of Chief Commercial Officer.

“These changes are effective immediately and importantly, between now and October, Mr Phillips will assist both with the transition into their new roles,” said TWC.

Mr Munroe said Mr Phillips has made a lasting impact on the organisation.

“Over the last two years, the TWC business has gained significant momentum with increased network growth, strong Network Partner and Supplier sentiment and prominent brand presence,” he said.

“The TWC team look forward to continuing to drive the aggressive growth plans with what is a very positive outlook for the business. Duncan will leave us having made a significant contribution to the business and reinforcing the TWC brand as Australia’s most trusted community pharmacy network.”
