Concerns raised over “unpaid” student placements


Clinical placements are putting students in some healthcare programs under financial pressure an academic believes.   Charles Darwin University Head of Social Work, Associate Professor Lisa Hodge, told a field education summit that unpaid placements are forcing students to choose between their education and other responsibilities.   Hodge told delegates that requirements for healthcare students to undergo mandatory
