CWH pitches in to fight COVID

Chemist Warehouse has donated eight shipping containers’ worth of PPE and other goods to India, reports the Herald Sun

Over the weekend journalist Charlotte Brundrett reported that the discount giant has arranged for five million masks and respirators to be sent to India, which has been fighting a devastating second outbreak of COVID-19.

The donated goods were manufactured by Softmed.

“The pandemic has equipped us with the skills to meet quick turnovers, so when Chemist Warehouse approached us we were more than happy to help by producing mass quantities of masks and respirators at short notice,” the manufacturer’s general manager, Sergiy Tsimidanov, told the Herald Sun.
