CWH launches radio station

Radio presenter Zoe Sheridan will provide listeners with breakfast and drive shows along with co-host Brendon Dangar.

Australian Radio Network (ARN) and Chemist Warehouse have announced the launch of the ‘Chemist Warehouse REMIX’

Hosted by Brendon “Whippy” Dangar and Zoe Sheridan, the new station features a combination of national news, sport, weather and music, reports B&T.

Chemist Warehouse REMIX is the first in-store and DAB+ combined radio station to offer national news, sport and weather to listeners.

The station is set to reach approximately 1.8 million customers every week across more than 400 Chemist Warehouse stores nationally from this week, and will also be heard on iHeartRadio and DAB+.

“This exciting collaboration marks an evolution in our in-store music offering for our Chemist Warehouse customers,” said Chemist Warehouse’s chief operating officer, Mario Tascone.

“With experienced and well-known announcers, a great mix of music and up-to-date weather, sport and news, Chemist Warehouse REMIX is a genuine, contemporary radio station that I know our customers will love.”

ARN’s chief commercial officer, Emma-Jayne Owens, said: “This launch is a natural progression of the long-standing partnership between ARN and Chemist Warehouse.

“We’re delighted to bring this first-to-market station for DAB+ and iHeartRadio to life, and to deliver a modern and engaging in-store experience around Australia.”
