An Arkansas pharmacist has won the title of Mrs North Continent Globe 2018, in the “world’s most prestigious pageant for married women”
Cassandra Lang, who holds a Doctor of Pharmacy and works as a pharmacy manager at Walgreens, has taken the crown in a pageant that took place in California, NSW.
Her next stop will be China in November where she will compete against contestants from 80 other countries for the title of Mrs. Globe, a pageant that has been running since 1996.
Not just for married women, the Mrs Globe competition is actually open to women aged 24-45 years who are either divorced, married or separated.
Dr Lang is a pharmacist and prescription drug abuse awareness advocate.
She also works as a personal trainer with her company The Fitness Pharmacist, where she offers free workout and meal plans to help mothers build their fitness and confidence postpartum.
According to KARK.com, Dr Lang also works with and raises money for the Women In Need Foundation, a non-profit organisation that helps women and children recover from domestic violence situations.
