“As a HMR pharmacist I seem to spend a lot of time writing in the medications that are not on the referral. I also update the medical hx list as it is often lacking.
“One drug that is constantly appearing in patients medication boxes but is definitely not on the GP list is Aspirin 100mg.
“The patients are dismissive and say they buy them at the supermarket and have been taking them for years. had recent patient that was actually taking one tablet from three different brands of the aspirin 100mg!
“Has anyone else encountered this?”
