An AusPharm member writes: “I’ve just had a script prescribed by local GP for Efudix for a 19yo male (not present)
“On questioning his mother she says he has a rash on his penis. Didn’t sound right to me, so I rang Dr who is adamant this is the right cream.
“Wash up is, I expressed my concerns to mother who decided not to take the cream and get a second opinion.
“Would anyone else have handled this differently, or is there an indication I’m missing?”
