“Could a spokesperson from the Guild please explain the Guild’s role in payment of medication reviews. So many people have been affected by rejection of payments. If the Guild is currently powerless to use common sense and fairness in assessing claims, what are the mechanisms for reforming the system? If the Guild does not feel motivated to fix the deficiencies, who does an individual or group of individuals appeal to? A further question, is there currently any review occurring as to the shortcomings of scheme with regard to caps, applications to perform reviews out of the home, fairness in travel reimbursement and when would we expect to see a change?”
