Retiring PDL CEO honoured by PSA for her groundbreaking career

Marie Ritchie, who steps down this month as CEO of PDL (the owners of AJP), has been recognised by the PSA for her lifetime’s work for the profession.

At a ceremony, PSA Victoria vice-president John Jackson presented Ms Ritchie with a Certificate of Appreciation for her lifelong support of the pharmacy profession.

Marie Ritchie has served for 22 years with PDL and APPco, and as Jackson said she “broke the glass ceiling at PDL when she stepped up from her executive officer role to become PDL’s first Chief Executive Officer”.

“It came at an important time in the history of the organisation and Marie’s stewardship was a crucial stabilising force while PDL and the pharmacy profession confronted significant change”.
