Natanya McLenaghan is 2016 Pharmacy Assistant of the Year

Natanya McLenaghan has been named 2016 Pharmacy Assistant of the Year.

McLenaghan was awarded the title of Queensland Pharmacy Assistant of the Year in August, giving her the right to compete in the national finals, which were held over the weekend during the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Queensland Branch’s Pharmacy Assistant Conference.

The awards made up part of a gala fancy dress dinner with a theme of “Under the Sea”.

McLenaghan, who works at the Aspley Discount Drug Store, takes home more than $10,000 in cash and prizes, including a Guild Training course of her choice.

“As pharmacy assistants, we all do an amazing job and we should be proud of what we bring to others’ lives and the help we give,” she said earlier this year.
