The latest round of price disclosure related price changes, which will come into effect on 1 October, 2015, have been announced.

The chemotherapy drug capecitabine is to see a 52% drop, with the 150mg tablet to see a price drop from $83.46 to $40.04, and the 500mg tablet a drop from $517.39 to $248.19.

Methotrexate injections will see a 44.45 to 44.5% reduction, while dexamethasone corticosteroid injections will drop by 40.48% (dexamethasone sodium phosphate equivalent to 8mg dexamethasone phosphate in 2mL) and 45.92% (4mg dexamethasone phosphate in 1mL).

Montelukast chewable tablets (4mg and 5mg, as sodium) will drop by 39.35%.
