Patients support pharmacy after suspicious fire

A Perth pharmacy has received overwhelming support from its customers following a suspicious fire over the weekend

The front windows of the Corfield Street Family Chemist in Gosnells were smashed and items inside set alight, the West Australian reports, and stock and fittings were damaged.

There was also damage to the medical centre next door.

“Please tell your friends we are still open for business after the fire,” the pharmacy wrote on Facebook.

“We received such overwhelming support and love today. We even had customers offering to help us clean up.

“We are so blessed to have so many people who care about us and our business.”

The pharmacy asked anybody with any information about the suspicious fire to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at crimestopperswa.com.au.

The fire at the pharmacy followed a ram raid at a Gosnells bottle shop on Saturday.
