There is just over a month to go until we find out who will be GuildSuper’s Pharmacy Assistant of the Year
This year has been the most successful for the award so far, having received more than 580 entries.
It’s a fitting way for the award to celebrate itsĀ 10th year under the auspices of the Guild.
The Pharmacy Assistant of the Year (PATY) award was established to acknowledge the contribution pharmacy assistants make to community healthcare; who are are proactive in developing their own careers; and inspire others to do the same.
All the judges said the calibre of the entries was “extremely high”. According to Guild national training manager and judge, Deborah Scholz, the finalists encourage others to strive for success and really are the “best of the best”.
The finalists now head off on an all-expenses-paid trip to PA2016 and will participate in a workshop/training day, ahead of the conference proper. The national winner will be announced at the gala dinner on October 28, 2016. They will receive more than $10,000 in rewards, cash and prizes. They will also write a monthly column for PS.
Pictured (above) are the NSW finalists who took part in the workshop/training day last Friday.
