Pharmacists talk 6CPA in Canberra

55 pharmacists outside Parliament House to talk 6CPA

Guild pharmacists have met with politicians at Parliament House Canberra over the past two days to press for a positive Sixth Community Pharmacy Agreement (6CPA).

Divided into groups of three or four, the delegation met with around 70 MPs and Senators from all sides of politics.

Their key message was the need for the 6CPA to underpin the viability of community pharmacies so that services to patients and employment in the industry can be maintained. Viable dispensaries are a vital part of the equation.

The current Pharmacy Agreement, the Fifth, expires on 30 June this year.
