Pharmacy Alliance announced today that its membership numbers have hit an all-time high of 504 members.

Starting in 2002 with only five members, Pharmacy Alliance focuses on providing independent pharmacy with effective business solutions to enable them to operate their pharmacy more efficiently.

“With such significant change in the pharmacy industry and the challenging market that pharmacy now operates in, we have had to change the way we provide support to our members,” says Pharmacy Alliance CEO, Darren Dye.

“As a result we have been able to attract a significant number of independent pharmacies across Australia over the last few years

“Pharmacy Alliances service focus, capability of ‘buying’ and operational support has evolved to incorporate a sophisticated, best-in-class retail solution for each Pharmacy Alliance member over the last two years.

“The aim is to significantly grow member pharmacy sales and our retail solution will drive more customers and increase basket size with a more ‘whole of shop’ approach.

“This means that we need to assist our members to better understand consumers and allow them to better engage customers when they visit their pharmacy,” Dye says.

With a membership of 504 pharmacies and plans for continued growth over five years, Pharmacy Alliance has significant buying power which all members can take advantage of and a complete backend solution that allows members to operate and manage their business more efficiently by removing costs throughout the supply chain.
