A note to our readers

In uncertain times, we at AJP stand with our readers and encourage you to communicate with us

Well these are certainly unprecedented times that we’re facing.

In 2020 we’ve so far had to contend with nation-wide catastrophic bushfires, weeks of associated smoke haze-filled skies and dust storms, ongoing drought that still remains in parts of the country, and now a pandemic the likes of which we’ve not seen in our lifetimes.

All of us at the AJP want to express our admiration for the dedication, professionalism and care that our friends and readers in pharmacy provide to the community, in increasingly challenging situations.

You are such a vital, often under-recognised part of our healthcare system, and this run of disasters has highlighted your value to the nation, whichever sector of pharmacy you work in.

We understand that you are facing a time of unprecedented demand and stress, and want to reassure you that we are committed to keeping you up to date with the news, information and education that matters most to you, your work, and your business.

To make sure that we are continuing to provide you with the most important and up-to-date news and information, I encourage you to get in touch with me at chris.brooker@appco.com.au with suggested topics or ideas on what you (or we) need to know.

Thank you, and keep up the great work

Chris Brooker, Editor, AJP
