The end of September saw the end of the CPD year, as well as more than 73,000 assessments on the Guild’s myCPD site
It was an extremely busy year for the site, says the Pharmacy Guild.
This represented an increase of more than 10,000 more assessments over the previous year and is testament to the demand that exists for quality education to meet the needs of pharmacists.
The myCPD site has more than 30 courses available that provide pharmacists with more than 70 CPD credits.
And with a long list of courses in the development phase there is more to come, the Guild says.
The introduction of the new Learning Plan now provides pharmacists with access to a free and easy-to-use tool to meet the Pharmacy Board requirements.
Further enhancements to the Guild’s Learning Plan will occur this year which includes the linking of courses on the myCPD site to the Learning Plan to assist in matching learning to the competencies.
The Guild also highlights that myCPD and the Learning Plan is available free of charge to both members and employee pharmacists.
