Keep up to date with the latest news on the cancellation or postponement of upcoming pharmacy events

Regular pharmacy, pharmaceutical and medical events continue to fall victim to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

Following the cancellation last month of the 2020 iteration of APP, the biggest annual event in pharmacy, AJP has learnt of the postponement of a number of other planned events.

The upcoming events already announced as being postponed are:

Pharmeducation Clinical Update 2020, 18-19 April 2020, Coogee Beach, NSW

Pharmacy Ownership Ready Conference, 4-5 May 2020, Melbourne, Vic

APC & ANMAC Interprofessional Colloquium, 06 May 2020, Canberra, ACT

National Medicines Symposium, 21-22 May 2020, Sydney, NSW

7th Pharmaceutical Sciences World Congress, 22 – 26 May 2020, Montreal, Canada

2020 Women’s Pharmacy Conference Retreat, 14-15 June 2020, Red Hill, Vic

ConPharm 2020, 19-21 July, 2020, Adelaide, SA

As well as these events for which there has been confirmation, serious question marks remain over other upcoming events, particularly the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia’s annual Refresher Conference, scheduled for May in Belfast and Edinburgh.
