The Pharmacy Guild of Australia via Gold Cross Products and Services are offering a digital grant to eligible Guild member pharmacies

After what it calls a very successful and oversubscribed first round, Gold Cross has opened a second round of funding due to high member demand and high quality of websites produced in round 1.

This round closes sharply Friday February 28th 2020 5pm AEST.

Judges will award 25 Guild member pharmacies who fit the eligibility criteria, a tiered subsidy based on pharmacy turnover in the last financial year:

  • 50% funding contribution up to $1550 (ex GST), for pharmacies $2 million and under;
  • 35% funding contribution up to $1085 (ex GST), for pharmacies between $2-3 million

for the cost of a website set up with Guild Digital. No other provider will be accepted as part of the grant.

Trevor Clarkin, GM of Gold Cross Products and Services said: “The CP2025 Digital Enablement Pathway outlined that a proper pharmacy website can stimulate business growth and foster better connections with local customers.

“With electronic prescriptions on this year’s radar as well as customers demanding online vaccination booking, this Digital Grant provides financial assistance to reduce the barrier to success for small to medium Guild member pharmacies. Gold Cross is proud to help members achieve success.”
