The Hyatt Regency, Sydney.

Dr Catherine Duggan, CEO of the International Pharmaceutical Federation will deliver a keynote address on pharmacist innovation at PSA18

Dr Duggan will speak on Friday July 27, focusing on international developments in services delivered by pharmacists, and current trends in the development of the pharmacy workforce.

She will highlight opportunities for Australia to learn from the rest of the world and shape the future of pharmacist practice.

PSA National President Dr Shane Jackson will then build on Dr Duggan’s global report to showcase PSA’s 10 Year Vision for Pharmacist Practice.

“We welcome Dr Duggan as the keynote speaker for PSA18 and look forward to her insights on pharmacy around the globe,” Dr Jackson said.

“PSA invites all pharmacists to attend this session to find out where Australia sits in relation to other countries – what areas we’re leading in, and what we can learn.”

Dr Duggan will take up the position of CEO of FIP in June 2018, working to ensure FIP leads in global healthcare decisions and actions.

She was previously the Director of Professional Development at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.

PSA18 will take place from 27 to 29 July 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Sydney.
