GuildCare announces its finalists

For the first time, the GuildCare 2019 Pharmacy of the Year Awards have expanded to two categories: Professional Services and Customer Care

This recognises the growing number of pharmacies embracing technology to improve patient health outcomes, says GuildCare.

“It’s clear that when pharmacies provide professional services, there’s a direct impact on health outcomes, increased patient engagement and improved adherence. It’s a win-win for pharmacy, and for patients,” said Jannine Johnson Acting CEO GuildLink, when announcing this year’s finalists.

“These pharmacies absolutely deserve to be recognised for their commitment to excellence in healthcare.”

The GuildCare 2019 POTY Professional Services Award recognises pharmacies dedicated to improving medication adherence, providing a wide range of professional services and interventions, with a continual focus on better health outcomes.

“Our POTY data clearly shows that successful pharmacies are embracing new opportunities to help their patients and they’re using our technology to adopt CP2025 growth pathways,” Ms Johnson said.

“Congratulations to all our State POTY Winners for proactively empowering their patients, delivering accessible professional services and other digital health initiatives.”

To acknowledge the increasing importance of digital health solutions, this year GuildLink has also introduced the GuildCare POTY Customer Care Award, recognising pharmacies focused on making medication management easier for their patients with myPharmacyLink.
